Stick Empires Wiki

The Armoury (or Armory, in-game) is a feature of Stick Empires that allows players to cosmetically customize their units with Empire Coins.

There is a common misconception that Armoury items increase damage and/or durability of units. This is not true as all items are purely cosmetic.

Armory Update

New armoury items are gradually added with patches and slots into the existing lists of items based on price, with cheaper items being order on the left side of each tab.

Armoury Changes

The armoury has since changed from the screenshots on this page and now shows units with the rest of their empire when looking at different items.

There also used to be armoury item 'adverts' where the game chat now appears showing off a themed unit containing matching armoury pieces.

Armoury from patch 2.20

This YouTube video shows every item from the new armory layout.

Armoury_items_patch_2.20

Armoury items patch 2.20

Older layouts and items can be seen below, as well as descriptions for various items. Some of the items have interesting references (e.g. the swordwrath clubs referencing Stick Wars 1's swordwraths initial weapons).

Items

The Armoury contains many items for almost every unit for both Chaos and Order. These are grouped into Weapons, Armour (Armor in-game), and Miscellaneous (Misc in-game).

Not every unit has every category of customization.

If adding pictures, please ensure that it is in the same order as the in-game Armoury. Also, if everything else on the unit is default, that would also be helpful.

Note, 'first' and 'second' terms refer to the list of items in the order they used to be in, shown in the gallery screenshots to the right, and there may now be newer items in between these old ones making the fourth item, for example, now the fifth.

However, it is also possible to simply earn them. You can earn 10 Empire Coins for winning your first match in. This can only be done once per calendar day, hence you can get 20 coins in less than an hour if you play over midnight every two days. You will also earn 50 Empire Coins for the first time you complete the in-game tutorial. You can also obtain 75 Empire Coins from refering a friend to the game over the Facebook version of stick empires.

Trivia

  • Many Armoury items are references to other games, films, or historical armies such as Native American tribal warriors.
  • The first animated Armoury item was the Magikill fire staff, which is 700 Empire Coins - according to the patch notes for patch 1.88, however the Magikill staff wasn't first animated item! The bomber head (bomb) and some other accessories were!
  • All units have the same animations, regardless of equipped Armoury items. This is somewhat strange when a Swordwrath slashes with a Rapier (a stabbing weapon) for example.
  • The ShadowrathJuggerknights and Speartons are the only units with 2 completely different items in the same category. For Shadowrath, this is a staff and a sword, while for Speartons/Juggerknights, it is a shield and a helmet. This is in the Weapons and Armour sections respectively.
  • Some of the armoury literally changed the unit's shape, as in the armoury in Elementals .
  • Charrog is the only unit to have all armoury parts in weapons, armor and misc. However it can only modify 1 of these 3 categories currently as of patch 2.20
  • The 300 empire coins that are received monthly on having Gold Membership can't be received if the user didn't pay for that month.
  • New armoury updates used to show in the area the chat now is, acting as an advertisement.
  • Camo spearton

    Order Empire:Camo Spearton

A user without gold membership is unable to view the items to select for each chaos and elemental unit, however they can still navigate to the chaos and elemental tabs

  • A user that once had gold membership but no longer has will be able to see their customisations they selected before the membership ran out in the chaos and elemental tabs of the armoury, however they will not be able to change these. Also, the items selected for chaos in the armoury will appear on the AI in versus Chaos AI modes.
